if you just 'grab' MK while he's in the air....nothing with happen. You must pummle MK AS SOON AS you get the grab. Basically mash the attack button while your grabbing MK at the start and he should air release.

damn M2K did this to me awhile ago. I think it happens for every character if you grab them out of the air. So stupid. lol

Ah so thats why it wasn't working for me. You need to grab them in the air just as they enter your grabbox.

I know this technique.

Fox can also re-grab, set-up for a back-air/down-air, dash attack and shield>up-smash. This attack should always be a surprise
