I saw a band called the Boston Revue in Oostende, Belgium in 1998. They had a guy plaing stand-up bass (well, not so much playing it as posing with it.) Same guys?

Hi there upst8! Yes it is the same band. When we toured Holland, Belgium and Germany we always used Oostende as sort of base and used to perform at a lot of festivals etc. Incidently, we had the double bass stolen in Oostende, but Spencer has another now. No - my wife and I were just visiting at the time - we live in the U.S.. It was an afternoon concert sponsored by a beer called (hold on, I have the mug upstairs) Rodenbach! The festival was called Oostende "In The Mood" (btw - No offense meant to the bass player! He was just so busy spinning it around I didn't see how he could actually be playing it at the same time. He obviously plays very well!)

Hahaha! Rodenbach! Great beer! I remember that gig well! I have that gig on video somewhere. You are probably on it. Hopefully, I'll be placing some of it on Youtube in the future.
