I heard an interesting point in a debate I was listening to, the comment made, was more or less this: "We should give the Maori people what they want! Their own governments, their own tax systems, their own healthcare, their own schools, and you know what? They should. And it should be Maori only, and they should go to THEIR institutions, not others. And another thing, it can all be funded by their taxes. Oh wait, they don't pay taxes..." Racist? Maybe. Interesting? Yes.

Did you actually click the "Spam" button, that you know of? One of your comments yesterday showed up as spam here before I even had a chance to read it, so I think it may just be another YouTube bug they haven't ironed out yet... Well, apparently thats the way it was before the Europeans arrived! I'm relieved that my ancestors didn't arrive until well over century after the Treaty of Waitangi was signed...
