Mediocre crap, yes, but definitely a cut above anything Jaco Pastorius did. Pastorius was just an inaccesible lunatic. A least this guy's stuff presents a bit of skill.

This is embarrassingly dreadful. The slap and pop version of bass playing is dates so quickly and sounds like everyone else. Even Jeff Berlin says he has given it up now. Ugly ugly sound. Go back to the Jaco videos for real tone and groove!

very good! i wouldnt say the best though but this guy definatley deserves some recagnition. i liked the muted double thumping around 1:10 that was pretty pro

With all due respect to you and the other bass players you mentioned ... Please don't put them at the same level as Jaco ... it's foolish ... it's not only his soul and technique, Jaco created something "Unique" that no other has accomplished.
