I believe I am lineage. My mother is a Willette. Her great grandmother married great grampa Plumber. My mother is downline from there. Grandma Plumber was supposedly full blooded. Have to do more research to know for sure.

Amazed to hear the Waban-Aki language, I'm a direct descendant of Chief Barnabas Lightheart and Princess Lightheart of Maine. Would love to see some Waban-Aki at my mother's sports bar in Salem, MA where I work most nights: Sidelines.

Kwai,Kwai brother,I wish we had been able to learn our language as your nation has preserved as long as it has and still is. Our Language and yours are interrelated in many ways as we are as a people we are part of the Wabanaki Confederacy. We Have just been able to put our language on CDS so we can begin to reteach it to our young people once again. Kci'Oliwinni for the kind words

Wow, good news! A couple of years ago we had an Abenaki friend here in Albania who played the drum and sang a prayer with it. He told us that there were only 12 speakers of Abenaki alive. So now there is hope that language and culture will be revived!? So glad to here this!
