St. John's Day: A Midsummer celebration of the Summer Solstace - with drinking, dancing, singing, and bonfires - that lasts until the sun comes back up!

Every year, my friends and I travel up to Kursa near Shelton, Washington to celebrate St. John's Day (Jāņi). Lots of fun, and this year was no exception!

@elina19870803 Yes, we do! But only the ones who know about and love the Baltic countries, or people who are not afraid to get in touch with their pagan roots. I am hosting a Janus/Jāņi/Jaanipäev on my property for many of my friends, family and neighbors tonight, actually! I may make a new video... who knows?

Ahh I love Jani at Kursa. (I'm one of the dancers!) It's winter right now, and this is making me look forward to next summer even more. :)

I love it too! It's always nice to see friends from the Seattle area. Unfortunately I will not be up there this year, as I will be in Estonia. But I guess that is an acceptable excuse, right?
