Hi, I believe it's "interficere" instead of "interfecere" in the transcript.

  • FLAVIVSIVLIANVS

Why didn't they show the wax of Caesar on a cross (yes like Jesus)? Perhaps they do not want the truth to leak out........

I quite understand what FLAVIVSIVLIANVS is referring too. The Roman government and the Catholic Church have historically been the same organisation, the bible as we know it and the success of Christianity exist largely as a result of their hard work and many Christians owe a debt of gratitude to the catholic church weather they like catholics or not.

Considering the Catholic Church actively sought to destroy Christians, who did not follow the Pope, for a thousand years, I'd say we owe the RCC absolutely nothing. They have done more damage than anything else to Christianity.

Do you seriously believe that the New Testament is not the work of the Pontifex Maximus?

The actor is speaking ecclesiastical Latin, not classical. Original Latin did not sound so much like Italian: every 'c' had a 'k' sound and there were no ch, sh, j or v sounds (v was the Latin w).

I get ya', but you perhaps could have spelt it double 's'.

All the Romance languages come from Vulgar, not Classical, Latin, and they are substantially different.

it wouldn't but I was trying to make it semi-phonetic, without the international charecters, as you can see the word is spelled incorrectly, but in English, an "s" between two vowels makes a "z" sound ironically so I just chose to use the "z" though it should be a soft "s"

No, why would the 's' make a 'z' sound?
