they wouldnt say shit if they were on bikes rather than skateboards. and the "new craze" is actually not new, it was started int the 80s. and safety equipment in the longboarding community is much more prevelant than in any other sport.
Do your research on the sport and do your research on unbiased newscasting, then try again.

I while I don't condone some of the actions shown, These guys looked well in control of what they are doing- certainly no worse than some vehicle driver's I see on a day to day basis.
(Yes we know the Law is an Ass) but it shows what biased reporting and lack of knowledge and only seeing what they WANT to see can twist things around. I Street Luge and my Son Longboards so I can understand both sides of the argument as an ex Fire Officer.

@Lus146 board doesnt matter its 90% rider in my opinion like i downhilled with a sector 9 pintail with hella lot of flex and still hit 40 but i ride an evo now.... ime just sayin its more rider than board

Insurance bitch. She thinks skaters aren't even human. She was more worried about damage to cars, like our lives were nothing. Insurance companies are the scum of the earth, don't know why her opinion was even asked for. If they do the studies on financial impact of skateboarders on the road, we could be insured. Except its not worth the research. They'd prefer to bitch and try and make what we do illegal than offer a solution.
