  • Thanks. Yes you can certainly use a sono tube instead of building a frame like I did. I initially thought of using a 12" diameter sono tube, but it was a little too small so I went ahead and built the frame out of spare plywood sheets that I had in the garage. Thanks again ... I need to get back to finishing the project (it's been a long hot summer, and I've let other things get in the way of my astro project).
