Alkaline Trio - Clavicle/My Little Needle

Clavicle had me hooked on the first listen, I also love the way the songs flow together so I thought I'd give that a go N.B. My little needle is not a drugs song, it's about finding your needle in a haystack; I think I've found mine, but she's out at the minute so in the meantime I can have rockstar practice! I'll do these again on acoustic at some point, Clavicle has such a great riff, it could do with a tuned guitar!

Pretty good and interesting take on two great local band songs. Matt Skiba grew up around here (his oral surgeon father did work on my teeth) and there's a huge drug problem around here. The only legal thing of interest for miles are the druggy-filled bars and the rollar rink that features live music.

That song is all about needles in haystacks, but it is also a reference to the drug culture that influenced Matt's life so much, as can be heard in other songs, lol.
