She came back after such a long time and some illiterate al qaeda terrorist attacked her and killed her on the second attempt. They attacked her only for the gender issue that Islam does not allow Muslim woman to lead the country. We need to get rid of these sick terrorists. They think they own Pakistan.

No No you are wrong it was a suicide bomber who targeted Benazir. She was threatened for 20 years by these terrorists. She was the agent of America and Osama knew that she will destroy talibans if she will come to the power.

BB = BEYGHAIRAT BAAP KI BEYGHAIRAT BAITI ( BHUTTO + BEYNAZIR)

@yahoovisitor That is absolutely false, read her book, the bombings removed the media attention from the hundreds of thousands of people that came out to support her on her return, Benazir was an amazing woman that wanted to show the world, not just Pakistan that there really is not such a great difference between Islam and other religions, she wanted a democratic society, she returned knowing that her life was endangered, but she returned for her people
-
It was absolutely not gender related it was her visions for a modern Pakistan that killed her, her vision to bridge the gap between Islam and the West, her father as President also suffered the same fate, as did many other members of her family, she wanted to turn Pakistans dictatorship past into a democracy, but corruption eventually won over
Read her book and you will understand more

Read her book, she was not an agent of America, nor was she killed by Osama, she was killed for what she stood for, and that was to create a democtratic nation, she loved Pakistan and the people, her family stood for moderninity to bridge the gap between Islam and the West, however extremists and dictators eventually won, not just her but many members of her family came to the same fate, she was an amazing woman that fought for her beliefs even though she knew it may well kill her
-
@nedarr actually it was nothing about being a woman, it was what she stood for in a country divided by corrupt dictatorship and the modern world, she has a book that she finished shortly before her death that is very insightful about her as a person, what she stood for, and why people wanted her dead, it was extremists that killed her not al qaeda

She was one of the greatest leaders of the muslim world.the fanatic muslim groups like jamaate islami, lashkare tayyeba and tahrike insaf were against her and dont want to see liberal and modern pakistan.
pakistan is a very friendly land...
