My son has hlhs and like many other moms and dads we did not find out untill after birth 1 in 100 babies are born with some kind of defect most are not caught untill after birth . Im not sure but I kinda wish I knew but then I dont because I would have proably stressed the whole time bein pregnant so there are pros and cons to this procedure

amazing surgery, but I could not imagine a perfectly formed baby of mine being terminated all because they had a heart defect, I would give my child compassionate care, and I would want to say my goodbye through love for my child

My baby girl, Adelle, had HLHS as well. We gave her every fighting chance, we traveled over 2,000 miles from home to what was considered the best Congenital Heart Defect center in the world. With every thing we did and everything she did she still passed away in my arms, only fifteen days old. BABIES ARE ALWAYS WORTH IT!

I had surgery in utero. There's many of us (at least I heard) I didn't have a heart problem, but fixing heart problems in utero is incredibly interesting. I'm in my 20's

We have just found out that our baby boy has this condition, he isn`t due until november 07, i wish we could have this done but they do not do it in england!
