  • i have officially never seen this type of cpu as i only recently started working on pcs but still good info and it reminds me of how u do the ram. why did they discontinue this type of cpu tho? was it just now efficient enough? or was their overheating issues as well? or not fast enough?

  • @vox2007 You need up to 512mb for proper speed with xp, I know it's not minimum but more ram helps.

  • @gsm17757 No, BUT, there are adapters called "slotkets" that allow you to use a Socket 370 Pentium 3 in a Slot 1 motherboard.
