If you torrent frequently, you probably might not know you're being monitored by other people. In this video I'll be telling you how to remedy that and torrent more safely.

  • I never know that many authorities were connecting (monitoring or gaining access) to my computer via p2p before i install this peerblock, but if there is this "peerblock" there must be an anti-peerblock used by authorities, so there is no 100% gurantee that you are safe from being caught. And dont get comfortable because if they use uttorent too, like normal user do, they can still detect us via peer section tab on the uttorent, so dont download often

  • Yeah, I've said in a few comments that this isn't 100% safe - but better than not using it at all.

  • shit u kno this n*ggaz fo real wen he lashes out the all black google fuck

  • LOL

  • I just downloaded PeerBlock days ago. It's blocking over 1 billion IP addresses! WTF! Who are these people?

  • They're just a lot of companies and universities who may be trying to connect to your IP (some might be from other people on campus or downloading at work). I've noticed that if you're running this and play WoW, Second Life or use Steam - it will give you issues telling you that you're unable to make a connection to their servers. This is because Linden Labs, Valve and Blizzard are on the list of blocked IPs.

Might be a good idea to keep that in mind and not torrent while playing a game. =)

  • thanks

  • PeerBlock can not stop handshakes. Anyone on your block lists can still log your IP.

  • Using a peer blocker is the Internet equivalent of wearing an amulet to ward of disease. It's ineffective and gives a false sense of security. There are viable alternatives that do make downloading torrents safer, involving seed boxes or proxies with encryption, but they are not free.

If you use a peer blocker and routinely download copyrighted material you will get caught. It's merely a question of time.

  • thanks dude

  • @SuperGordon1990 i am very sorry but there can't be something like "antipeerblock". i am not quite sure that you understand how the program works. the program simply blocks all ips that are known for reporting to authorities. you can not undo something like that. all you can do is get fresh ip adresses and that is happening, therefore it is not 100% save but "antipeerblock" is bs.

  • @LordReserei01 sorry dude, yup i agreed with you. Question!! How long have you been using this "peerblock software thing", I just want to know, b'cause I'm doing "something" and i already use it 1 week already, and I having doubt that my isp is monitoring my activities (or it just my mind playing with me). Who knows? Maybe even now they starting to make plans, strategies or stuff.

  • dont get 2 happy. u can still get caught
