Andrew Stone was an independent producer who managed to turn out several "B" features in the '40s- United Artists originally distributed this film, later reissued by Astor Pictures in 1950. This was one of Pola Negri's rare sound films, as she'd virtually retired from movie acting with the advent of "talkies" by the end of the '20s.
