This was the second Mance tune I learned after Ella Speed. It's such a clever, unexpected progression. I have trouble imagining it being anything other than a Mance original. I'll have to dig out Alyn's book to see what, if anything, he says of its origin.

@mmurph172 The song is in the Key of C. Watch my hands and you should be able to pick out the following sequence: |C|Ab7-G7| C| E7| F|Ab|G|A|C|C-G7|C|C|. This is a 12 bar song, but as Mance put it, "it is so different from everything else I play."
