We have missed these guys for a (way too) long. Too bad that Pete Sandoval wasn't present, but interim-drummer Tim Yeung (ex Hate Eternal, Vital Remains, Nile) did a f*cking great job (as you can see and hear). He is amazing.

The setlist was fantastic with new and a lot of old songs. 013 does not have the best accousticsound, but Morbid Angel have proved that with a great soundengineer even at 013 a detailed sound is possible.

We hope to see them soon again!!!!

I love Morbid Angel, which is actually pretty weird. I mainly listen to bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Rush and Slayer. I find most Death Metal bands slightly too repetetive but Morbid Angel has these heavier than hell Doom songs and very weird, experimental guitar solos - not only blast beat chaos. Even something as extreme as Death Metal can be done brilliantly and with real artistic experimentation!
