the first minute of the video shows some of the fire wood that will be used to heat my house this year also a brief description of what I think the best way to store it outside if you dont have a wood shed. stacking fire wood on pallets keeps it off the ground and lets air flow up under it, trimming a light duty pallet down to 3 ' wide and mounting a piece of tin to it keeps the tin off the top of the wood and helps dry the wood by cooking it in the sun and alowing the air flow to come from the bottom up and out the top. I set some odd pieces between the top pallet to give it some weight to stop wind from blowing it off. I did it this way last season and had the best & most dried wood ever.
the road trip to transport trucks that I have done so many times is always fun. Dave and I have been good friends for over 20 years and wwhhe he needs to transport vehicles that require someone with a CDL licence and a dealer plate I have both and we aloid all interstates & major highways so it is like going on back road road trips and hitting garage sales while getting paid for it. this last trip I bought some 20' & 34' steel trusses for $50 in Massachewsits and will be going back next week to transport some items and bringing them home.
@cleanthoughts the owner told me he uses 40 tons of coal per year to heat the place I think geothermal heating would be the way to go with this and have the coal as a back up
