Steve Cottrell: "Chilly Winds"

Folksinger Steve Cottrell performs a John Stewart/Kingston Trio classic with former Trio members John Stewart (the song's co-composer with the late John Phillips of Mamas and Papas fame) and Nick Reynolds at the Trio Fantasy Camp in Scottsdale, Arizona. A truly accomplished and professional balladeer, Steve dedicates his performance to his Marine buddies from his Viet Nam tour of duty. Steve's "fantasy trio" came the night after then-sixteen year old Nikki Sherwin had sung the same song with John and Nick; to understand Steve's sly humor at the end of the song and the audience's uproarious reaction, be sure to see Nikki's priceless performance again:
