The Jargalan Turkman Stud is owned by Dr Abdol Jalil Ghiadi. He has purchased from Louise Firouz a number of horses and is now breeding them in Bojnord, Iran. Dr Ghiadi is passionate about the Turkman horse its breeding and conformation. The horse in this film is Talla Gush, born 1996. He is notable for his narrowness and his almost perfect conformation for speed. These horses often rack a found paced fast walk. They still race horses in Jargalan and at the beginning of this film you will see a Turkman racehorse tethered. All the horses have to be tethered, as there are no fences. Once one gets east of Germany there are in fact very few obstacles such as fences and gates and Iran is free of such hindrances so a horse could escape to India if it so wished.
@blackcountryme Because if they broke their legs all the time, people wouldn't do it would they ?

No one seems surprised that this horse is tethered by a FRONT LEG! How many break their legs?
