yeah this comment was 8 months ago when i was still a white belt, as a blue belt honestly this is one of my go to moves now from half guard. i start with a kimura grip, clear the head and put my leg over, but i usually finish with a kimura, if my opponent defends i clear the head and rotate for a belly down armbar.
not the exact same positioning with the legs as cyborg did in this video but same concept.
much like how cobrinha executed in adcc barcelona.
@Donpaeng It isn't hard to pull off and it isn't a rare sub set either. He had it sunk once his foot cleared his opponents foot and he could wrap it on his head. I call it a rolling armbar when I can pull it off cuz it's one of those moves you maintain offensively while thwarting their defense and a move you have to constantly be moving to get. Just my opinion, I don't meant to say you're wrong or anything.
wow, very impressive performance! Cyborg is one of the very best out there right now. I hope he can beat Werdum at this year's ADCC.

@doogers1 yep, totally armbar

wasn't a kimura grip.
set up started from the half guard. into an inverted armbar set up. than rotated into a supposed belly down armbar, with a secured deep hook.
the positions of the legs are a little bit off though but it's similar to the spider armbar finish.
very hard to pull off though and a rare submission set up indeed.
