Keeley C4 Compressor in 100 Seconds

The 4-knob Keeley Compressor

Gives you the same great sound as the 2-knob Keeley compressor but with more control. You have sooo much control over the compression, and the compressor itself sounds nice and full, with a relatively low noise floor. Also, with so much control you can get some great sustain and compression without that 'quack' compressors are infamous for.

One thing I realllly love about this compressor is even if the volume LEVEL is compressed, there is still dynamic quality to the SOUND of the notes you are playing. If you listen carefully, you can hear a difference when I play notes softly; not in the volume, but in the sound and tone of the notes. Brilliant!

I just wanted to show the degree of control and the scope and range of all the controls. I just wanted to display the possibilities available; you can tailor this pedal to just about any setup and have it sound gorgeous.

This is still my second favorite compressor (of the about 2 dozen I've tried) hands down. My favorite is a secret. :)

I just can't get into compression pedals. I think your bypass tone sounds fuller than the compressed instance. Sounds too squashed and thin no matter the settings you are using. To me, compression sounds good in a studio on tracks when used lightly after being recorded. Thanks for sharing.
