GHOST DANCERS

A video collage and story of the Ghost Dance religious movement and subsequent tragedy. This is told from only my perspective and research. Not meaning to blame or make anyone feel bad.

Your story is not quite right with the Ghost Dance. I have many a friends from tribes from all over. As a Cherokee, I do not feel racist nor prejudice against the whites for what has come of my ancestors, for that is not who they would want us to be.

Remember the years of past, bit live only for to day, so that the younger will reshape the future for all races, religions and beliefs.

@LokuKina You seem to mean well, but yet always with the criticism. I'm telling an abridged story. What exactly have you done to tell the broader story? Why can't you be appreciative for what I have told. Because it isn't a hollywood version? I'm one independent musician of Native American ancestry trying to tell a story very few even know of. History books don't tell it. So if you have a problem with my version tell you own so I can also criticize and evaluate it. Otherwise piss off.

I'm an Asian woman. I feel sad for the tragedy of the native Americans. I respect all human beings and admire those warriors. They are brave and true warriors. I hope their people will be happy in the future. I love their wisdom and beautiful culture and hope it won't be disappeared in the changing world.

In America, we should be ashamed of our Goverment not respecting the Native First Nation Americans.

It is a fucking shame as an American ,I can't see True first Nation people walking down the streets everywhere in everyday life as with the Moari people in New Zealand.

In NZ you will see hords of the first nation people.Who knows you may fall in love with one of them and in NZ you will see first Nation Art.

Also , I like to see more Native American Art in the everyday modern world

@NYWAORCANZ Understand your passion. I noticed the other day the 2010 census data was released and it listed caucasion, hispanic, african american and asian. Not a mention of the Native (first nations) populations when I do remember checking. Arg. There is so much beautiful Native art my friend. Look online and you'll find some, better yet come visit us.

hellow i am the (k-key) "kevin o'connell" i went to a native american art show in marin county this weekend,,,it was depresing, not one native anerican there,how do these people get native american war clubs from the 16 hundreds? and peace pipe tomahalks,native americans where killed for there shoes..i held a native american war club in my hand,it felt like BLISS! my hand was stoned,and the floor caved in under my foot right after, i had to check to make shure there was no hole in the floor

@LokuKina actually it was correct. i have seen and met families whos ancestors have died and it is correct.  Cherokee is not one of the bands who performed this tradition it was done by the sioux.

I'm fr. Panama. I've read about the Dance fr Robert Ghostwolf (he's crossed over now).

The people were trying to roll up Time - backwards. There's more about it.

The witnesses, one of them, a man called Porcupine, gave his testimony afterwards to the U.S> Army- there's a look written down that's never been revealed publicly.

The events WERE real, & the Dancers could have turned back Time before the Whitemen, if the Army would have let them.
