Visit ElvisTVchannel: http://www.youtube.com/user/ElvisTVchannel?feature=mhee In 1990 a TV-Series about the early days of Elvis Presley was made, from his High School days till his highly successful Singing Career in the Fifties. Eventhough the TV-Series had a high entertainment value and was first class the TV-Series was short lived. Michael St. Gerard was choosen to portrait Elvis Presley, his natural facial likeness was uncanny, and no one has portrait Elvis Presley the way Michael St. Gerard did. It was like watching Elvis Presley himself. This short documentary is giving an indepth behind the scenes look at the making of the TV-Series "Elvis - Good Rockin' Tonight" by Interviews with the Cast.

  • Where the hell is this whole series?! It's not on DVD, and NO ONE seems to have it available to upload onto this site. HELP!!!!

  • @MrDoowop1955 I've bought the complete Series including this "Making of" as a bonus on DVD at Ebay from an American seller awhile back. But you need to be lucky though to find it. I also bought a complete series of Promotional Slides and other Press Material on Ebay a few months ago, so now and then things of this Series do show up on Ebay. I also know that on the Website ioffer.com the Series is offered for sale on DVD now and then, but I don't know if the picture quality is any good.

  • The most authentic Elvis tribute artist who has captured Elvis's mannerisms - from facial expressions all the way to the way he holds his hands and carries himself - is Cody Slaughter. He opened on Broadway most recently in The Million Dollar Quartet and won the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition at Graceland in August 2011. Watch him sing and pay tribute to Elvis. It's actually a little eerie to see him perform. He is a fabulous entertainer.

  • @1956ep The DVD Set of this TV Series usually costs about 20 American Dollars, but it's sold as DVD Recordables. A bit hard to find this DVD Set these days. It still surprises me that they haven't officially released this TV Series on DVD! I'm sure most Elvis Fans would love to have this TV Series on DVD! Michael St. Gerard is a priest these days, after he made this TV series he made a few Movies after which he retired from acting.

  • This guy physically looked the most like Elvis of all the actors who played him although Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Kurt Russell got his swagger and mannerisms down better. Had he been able to channel their acting talent, he would have been hands down the best Elvis ever.

  • @AshleeLovesMJ do you remember how much you payed for it ???

  • @jr774 how much did it cost????

  • @jr774 thankz but i rather see it online i tend to lose stuff really quickly can u upload it plz from one fan to another

  • @marieJessLisa

go to ioffer.com and you can buy the whole series on there, just type Elvis mini series dvd and it will come up, I own and I do recommend it to any Elvis fan it was very well made, it's a real shame it got canceled because they were going to keep going right through Elvis' whole career.

  • omg i really want to see the whole series is there any way possible for anyone to upload the whole series ive been seeing like bets and parts of the series and it looks really good plz and thankz
