Bumpy final stretch for President Kibaki

Analysts say the ICC saga may well present the biggest headache for president Kibaki as he prepares to quit office. The president's handlers are worried about how the indictments will affect his legacy especially following the damning claim that he may have been privy to some of the attacks. NTV's John Allan Namu now reports on the ghosts of Kibaki's controversial re-election, that have come back to haunt him, in his final months in office.

@jfgyes123 Kibaki had no choice in this matter. He had surrounded himself with people who were willing to burn this country than be left out in the cold. His handlers were facing serious threats from ODM. Remember Orengo saying that those who had been corrupt better flee the country? What's more Obako is ruled by Lucy and all the mafia had to do was convince Lucy to brin the jamaa back into line. If you watch the original video he says, "..kuitumikia nchi hii kwa uhalifu.... kwa uaminifu.." XD.

Excellent political analysis. It smy own opinion and I could be wrong but I think both the NTV commentator and the political analyst are very eloquent and have displayed a deep sense of knowledge of the topic. Well done to you two, unlike this guy from Uganda (David somebody)who was brought in by Aljazeera to comment on Kenyan stuff only to say a lot of nonsense the other day. It was as if we don't have our own well educated political analysts. What a shame Aljazeera!

Kenya has become a country where foreigners breathe down their agenda down our throats. Kibaki tried to realign relations with China to the West's dismay. They prefer their puppet raila to become president.
