Mac or PC? The Pros and Cons (Windows vs Apple)

Apple Pros:

Hardware and Software designed by the same company - Seamless Integration
Virtually virus-proof and top notch design (beauty, thinness, etc.)
Comes pre-loaded with well built software
Works well with other Apple products (iPod, iPhone, iTV, etc.)

Mac Cons:

Much more expensive (a little less than twice the cost in most cases)
You have to use software specifically made for Mac
It is more difficult to buy parts/accessories

PC Pros:

Compatible with almost everything - software and hardware
Lots of competition, driving down prices and increasing number of options
More customization options available when personalizing or upgrading

PC Cons:

Very vulnerable to viruses, malware, spyware, etc.
Windows is not as stable of an operating system as Mac - i.e. more errors

@9BBang Alienware, desktop, not the laptop, or you could get your desktop/computer built the way you want, that way, you can always upgrade it to the best of the best, just like all the hardcore gamers do. Both are good choices.

Well, here's the thing about the "Quicken" thing. On a Mac, you can run a windows operating system. You'll have to buy it, yes. There's also 2 ways to do it. Bootcamp (at my school) where you hold a button at the startup of the mac and you click which OS you wanna use, or Parallel Desktop, which lets you run a windows OS on top of your Mac OS.

In a nutshell:

Mac - for people who want something that just works, and/or people that don't know much about technology.

PC - For people that know what they're doing, even though it's not all that hard to install an antivirus.

1.hardwhere,if you know what your doing you proboly want a windows (or linux for the pros)

since you can get parts that are by FAR better, if you have no clue mac is for you

2. viruses nul and void since mac uses the same scipts and memory as windows

3. price yes...

in end mac isgood for the general person but it has lost most of all it's advanteges
