  • Working people who don't like unions must not like money.

  • Sorry, I'm not fat. I'm definitely not a loser.

As stated before - I could easily do your job. There's no way in hell that you could do mine.

  • UNIONS SUCK, great example: texas, two companies doing the same work i mile from each other, one has a union the other doesnt, the one were the workers have a union pay a union fee permonth, the one without a union pays no fee and earns 1:50 more per hour

  • 8 hr day is now the law and anything more is overtime.you dont need to be in a union to have xmas off.the government has enough workers right to protect them from being a "slave"..non union has won and they have 60% of the work in MANHATTAN and 90% in the bronx and westchester..union contractors must pay $100 per hr for a labor and non union pay $25 per and the guys they pay do it all and you want to know why union has no work..union =standing at rallys non union=go to work and feed your family

  • @mclemcleod83 Seriously.

  • Workers of the world unite, take back what your grandparents took a ass woopin for you to have. Thin s like lunch breaks, 8 hr work day, overtime pay, Christmas off. If you're ready to give all that up let your boss know and I'm sure he'll be happy to take it from you. You and your kids will be slaves or beg on the street, like it was in America before unions.

  • I was a union carpenter/woodworker for 20 years. Lazy co-workers are not looked upon very well, nor are those who cant do the job they hired on for. Most are highly skilled and very efficient at their jobs. Anything else you hear is anomalous or just the same old propaganda from union haters.( those who make more money when the worker earns less).

  • protesting just makes you like "extreme" to those on the other-side of the issue...

  • I'd say the latter are (luckily) fewer in numbers.Anyone who doesn't pull their weight gets an earful from me on any job. That goes for other Trades working around me as well.
