Here's a clip of Megatron doing what he does best: Blowing the shit out of everyone and everything.
Here he hijacks an Autobot space vessel with his army, blasts everybody to hell, and then proceeds to EXECUTE the one called Ironhide.

Megatron is an example what happens when you become power hungry. His ideals were to uncover the Cybertron's conspirecies and unfair Governments in their world to better serve the Cybertronians. But after the cabal, he sought to rule other worlds with his ideals and plans, and eventually craved utter dominance. Hence the WW2 Soldier type helmet he had on in G1, which in many ways, LOOONG story short, what brought the German Nazis, and the Communist controlled USSR

@Monoclesaurus Yeah no kidding. They hit people so many times with their guns in the series and no one died...then in less than a minute they killed off a hand full of characters with a few shots each.

@zaxellord well, I saw the movie in the theatre back when it was released so I was still pretty young, and as much I loved seeing the 'Cons kicking ass for once, it was the first time any bots were actually killed. Ironhide's death was off screen and that just made it worse. He got his head blown off man! Although it did prompt one of Megatron's most memorable lines...so, guess it balances out.

it is a dam shame transformers the cartoon movie had better writing than Michael Bay's.....he is trash!
