My interpretation of one of the myriad of masterpieces created by J.S. Bach. I know that many people consider that classical music and metal should not blend but i believe that when the energy of metal and the canorous sound of classical music blend a cool and beautiful sound is achieved. So tell me what you think, whether you think it is insulting or if you think it's awesome. I used way too much vibrato Cheers!

  • I think the blending of rock & classical creates a sound that speaks to your soul, its kind of ethereal in how it makes you feel! You rock dude, and your amazing on the guitar,Your not only making music your making art! I only wish I knew how to play!

  • @MeanGene1976 Thank you for the kind comment =]

  • What are the strings tuned to? What key is the song in?

  • @lordbow Dropped D tuning =]

  • @lordbow Dropped D tuning =] You could also tune all your strings half a step down and then tune your sixth string down to a C#

  • i do love this interpretation of the piece .i disagree though metal and classical belnd extremely well so does metal and opera thought he is not heavy metal did you know that meatloaf was operatically trained as a child because of his opera singing mother' anyways baby you need to get back to posting videos with your arrangments ! i encourage you to ps this is a brand new youtube i forgot the other accaount password lol rawr im your biggest fan!

  • @vidiaisrael do agree with the intermixing between metal and classical. I was just writing that because, there are some Bach and Classical purists, conservatives, etc out there who bash on anyone who does not play classical pieces as they were originally written.

  • That was epic. The best part was from 0:00 to 3:39. But the 3:40 sucked although.

  • Since when doesn't metal and classical blend well? Anyone who says that is an imbecile. They both follow the same rules, as opposed to (c)rap or numetal, which is just a cacophony of noise. Randy Rhodes, The Great Kat... just two examples of why the blending is as perfect as tequila and topless women!
