Can Ron Paul end the Fed?

Is Ron Paul finally in position to really do something about the Federal Reserve? Ron Paul has been a big supporter of making the Federal Reserve submit to an audit and with his recent appointment to the domestic monetary policy subcommittee, he will be in a position to make that happen. ending the FED is a matter of shifting the "printing of money" over from these assholes to the government doing it...once this is done, the american people will instantly put a halt to NEW loans, debt, interest payments, etc and enable the government to get on with getting out of its stupid deficit and start building value with it gold standard, etc
