Banda Magda Performs at Bastille Day in NYC 2011

My favorite part of Bastille Day in NYC 2011 was listening to this French artist perform. If I ever figure out who this is, I think I am going to have to pick up a CD of her.

FYI, the woman singing in emersive's video is Meg Reichardt. Her band does have a recent CD. As to her question "If she isn't French why was she performing at Bastille Day?" ... well, I suppose one could ask why we celebrating Bastille Day in NYC as well. Does having non-French performers singing jazz songs in French make this any less entertaining?

@AGonzalesSF It turns out it is not Meg Riechardt. Meg did perform at Bastille Day earlier. You did help me come to find the actual artist. The Band's name is Magda Giannikou.

@AGonzalesSF You are quite right, July 11th is not Bastille Day. This Bastille Day Celebration in NYC was however, on July 10th and my recording uploaded July 11th.
