Going on holidays can cause many people to 'do their back' simply because they are doing things they are not used to. Painting, gardening, sleeping at the holiday home, sleeping on the couch...this can spell danger to your spine which is not conditioned to these recreational activities.
The Piriformis muscle, a muscle deep in your glutes, can be stretched to alleviate pain, keep your back loose and supple, and prevent any issues.
See the video to do the stretch correctly. Stretch it for 30 seconds and repeat 3 times before swapping sides. If pain persists or the pain gets worse see your Physiotherapist
