Haunted Hunter [Posting embarrassing pictures online can come back to haunt you when you least expect it.]
To inspire deeper conversations about cyber safety ictQATAR and the Doha Film Institute (DFI) hosted a film-making workshop. Sixteen young aspiring filmmakers applied their creativity to produce four videos on how to stay safe online and enjoy the benefits of the Internet. Led by DFI's top-flight mentors, Ben Robinson and Justin Kramer, the workshop focused on teaching students a variety of practices that helped them create personal, original stories.
Children and young adults are more technologically savvy than ever before, and Internet safety has become a top priority for many parents and educators. With such an abundance of information at their fingertips, it is easy for children to unknowingly end up in unsafe situations. These short and creative videos explore cyber safety and online privacy issues from different angles, but aim at achieving the same goal -- helping kids stay safe online.
