  • are yellow light legal in the uk now or isit just one big loop-hole??

  • I like yellow headlights, especially when riding in snow or fog it gives much more contrast.

  • It's amazing how many stupid people have their headlights alligned incorrectly. Good to see a video on this subject, I have always wondered. It always was one thing that reminded you, 'this is France'. Have fond memories of older 80s/90s French flicks and peugeots with odd yellow headlights.

  • "if i want yellow lights, i should go to europe."

But not to germany, here its principally forbidden, just fog lights may bei "light yellow"...

On the Other hand, no one cars about, i´m drinving with yellow headlights for months... ;)

  • after being stopped for the third time in a couple of months i just changed back to white bulbs. i loved the style of yellow headlights, and don't see any reason they should be banned here in massachusetts. the nokya bulbs i had are much easier to look at while providing plenty of light. i guess maybe i'll have to take the advice of the officer in cambridge who told me that "if i want yellow lights, i should go to europe."

  • Very cool episode, thanks for the upload

  • Well, it did outlast the sealed beam requirement by almost a decade.

  • Modern car headlights are far too bright. Every time I drive at night, I have to look to the extreme left of my windscreen in order to avoid being blinded by oncoming traffic.
