Standard and Poor's primary reason for downgrading the U.S. credit rating was because of the fact that Republican's refused to raise tax's on the richest Corporations in the world. In 2010 Exxon Mobile and General Electric payed less than 1% of their income to tax's, while the average middle class american pays 10% or more. Lets just get rid of tax's and cut all spending!, then we can live in a 3rd world country

The american society allows you to earn that money, cause they provide you infrastructure and a working society. To keep the society running you need some level of redistribution. If you impede that, you might cause a revolution where the poor people don't take that shit any longer and burn the whole motherf*ckin' country - your house and car included. Government does not create jobs. Government employs people who are paid by taking money OUT of the economy. There is no wealth created there, no prosperity engendered, and no freedom maintained or enhanced. Government these days is about control and regulation. Taxation, which again....is the SUBJECT OF THIS VIDEO...is one of the ways that the government exercises control.

It is very, very simple. There is no "middle class tax cut" for the GOP to "take hostage". Taxes were cut by GW Bush. The current fight is only over whether or not to continue those cuts as is. This video is bullshit.

@HoGraz We've moved from a place where small business thrived to a corporate system. Why are all the places everyone shops now shopping malls? Earthfare here has 'Earthfare Shops." Kroger and McDonald's are in the business of real-estate too. Once they do away with public education they can corporatize that too. You can bet that will happen. They already do that with colleges.
