Simply Doing... Binary Code (Basics)

The first episode of the serie 'Simply Doing'! I will explain (and try to teach) the basics of Binary Code. I will not explain how it evolved and why certain thing are how they are, I will just show the people who are new to binary how to convert binary to decimal numbers and the other way around in an easy to understand, simple form.

I'm not going to help you hack games, I can tell you the binary code for 1 billion is 111011100110101100101000000000 in binary, but you could've come up with that yourself if you paid attention to the video ;-).

Hi there I am going to study oc tech soon after that I am thinking to go into networking. I got my self into binay for the last few days and I love it. I can convert any number from decimal to binay and the other way around on 8 bit system only.

I would love to know how to convert higher then 8 bit...can you help please??

Sorry for my late answer, something weird with YouTube...

Well, It's just as easy as any other amount of bits. For example; 16 bits. When you use 16 bits, you have 16 'spots' to have a 1 or 0. You will do the same thing. You see if the highest number (2^15 = 32768) is in the number you want to convert. If it is, you place a 1, if not, you place a 0. Then you go on to the next one (2^14= 16384). It's exactly the same as 8 bit.
