Led by an SD80MAC, SD70M, and a C40-8W, a 100 car freight train departs the south end of the yard. This shot was taken on part of my freelanced HO scale norfolk southern layout. Hope you enjoy!

  • What's the size of your layout? douple or triple level?

  • @8747csx i know but i usually see all double stack cars in one freight train... instead of boxcars tankers and and double stack mixed in one...

  • @222delta1 Any type of rolling stock can be in a mixed freight.

  • Good job! I love to see lenghty trains on model layouts, it adds to the realism. I have 3 Overland Models Norfolk Southern units in my lease fleet. 1 C40-9 tophat and 2 standard cab SD70 units. I love all three! I model CSX

  • haha like how there's a random double stack in the middle of mixed freight!!!

    0:59 seconds lol!
