@astronut66 Yeah, I suppose Morrissey gets glum and glib and rather heavy, I don't know whether Orange Juice ever got like that? I just think it's funny that Morrissey got this megastar thing of late, where in the popular press people are hard-pressed to remember the name of the guy who wrote that "Girl Like You" song. Collins was a rocker through and through, I suppose.

@blacknganga I've been re-listening to early Orange Juice this week in the car to work and the Morrissey thing struck me too. I was thinking who was doing what first and then I read your comment. As the man said, shop lifters of the world unite.

It's clear this band shared a vocal style with Morrissey. Maybe Morrissey ripped off this camp style. Orange Juice are more fun, anyway. Actually, the more I listen, how unoriginal was Morrissey by comparison. I suppose, we are all cannibals.
