I ordered a Rollover stove from Smokeeater908 to pair with my Fosters Beer can pot. The Rollover stove weighs right at 6 grams. My cook kit with stove, pot and lid comes to 1.7 oz. (48 grams). Note: This is an 18 oz Fosters beer can pot, which I made from one of Smokeeater908 aluminum rings. Smokeeater908 supplies 8 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz beer can pots. My pot is not wrapped with an insulating band. Your weight may vary slightly and could even be less with a smaller pot. See link below for Smokeeater908's store.

  • So.... What do u use to remove the hot pot from the stove?

  • @2kargarage1 Gloved hand, my carbon felt windscreen, my 7" strip of silcone hot pad, or a strip of frelectix. You could also wrap the pot with fiberglass wick or fiberglass drywall tape.

  • That looks sweet Jim :o) How would you like some wick to wrap those pots eh? :o)

  • @Ggreenvideos Rich, that would be great. Send me a PM if you've misplaced my address.

  • How does it compare to the BB 2.0? Is it the same idea?

  • @EconoChallenge Ran out of space & needed to measure. The different stove sizes means a difference in fuel capacity. This is important for you guys up north in colder climates. I was able to get 3/4 oz of fuel (per instructions) in the Rollover stove, any more and it tended to wick out the side jet holes. I was able to get 2+ oz of fuel in the BB 2.0. If you are melting snow, heating really cold water, or just plain in really cold weather, the fuel capacity of the BB 2.0 would be a plus.

  • Nothin' like compact and light, is there? Very nice system Jim.

  • Premium! - Just like it says on the can ;o)

  • I like it!

  • Nice video

  • @symmetrydesignlab Thanks. Still figuring out all the options and PIP features of CyberLink PowerDirector :-))

  • Very cool little stove.

  • Cool review Jim

  • @Woodenarrows Unfortunately the BB 2.O is out of production. I was wondering if this stove would be a good one to take its place. But as you describe there are important differences. For me bomb proof is a good feature. I have stepped on my pop can stove. It does not improve performance.
