This is one of the most digusting things I've ever seen. I despise this popular stance of "new technology is bad". Technology is GOOD, people, you just need to REGULATE it. I mean, imagine this same message running in the early 1900s. You know what kind of technology that would stop? Pacemakers, advanced prosthetics, hearing aids, artificial/synthetic organs. All great and wonderous technologies that have only HELPED the lives of people. You idiots can have your stone age. Leave me out of it.

The reason why technology like this will never come to fruition is the simple fact that IF a big enough solar flare hits the Earth, you can say goodbye to the entire planetary power grid. Everything that runs on electricity, with microchips etc etc. will be useless, and so will anybody with augmented body parts. Tough shit.

This is actually very scary. It's scary because it could, possibly can occur in the late future or very soon... The company presented just want the money and does not care about other human beings and I find it very morally wrong and just plain pathetic. For this reason, I will fight with the puriest and I will fight a moral war against a company like this.
