My small community in NC successfully fought off construction of Homeland Security's "Biolab" project a year ago (it was then stated to be a 800million dollar facility creating only 400 new jobs) and now due to be constructed in Kansas, *think tornado country" and to be constructed for much less money to study "hoof & mouth" & a few other deadly germs including the plague. A new vaccine company in Raleigh is due to be constructed, only 40 new jobs. Google biolab/homeland security.
