Sec. Geithner, tutored/influenced by Secs Kissinger,Rubin,Summers, Paulson, a CV lacking entries of down to earth real life experiences, seemed more glib than pragmatic. In May 2007, he opined that Global Economic Health Depends On American Middle Class, later in 2007 he defended banks' self-policing rather than oversight. Of reforms (signed by Pres Obama July '10) 387 mandates less than 50% are reality, CFTC regs postponed; CFPB boss,Fed overseer, OCC chief missing, thanks to pragmatism ?
