Protestants say the Bible; Catholics say the Priest.

Protestants say justified by faith; Catholics says justified by works.

Protestants are allowed to think for themselves and make their decisions; Catholics are to surrender all thought to the RCC.

The question I have for Catholics. Why does God describe the whore of revelation, in the colors of the Vatican. They are the only church, with their colors that I know of scarlour and purple, decked in gold, and having the cup of filthiness. Explain.

Absorbing bits and pieces of other religions are an age old trick when spreading a faith. Lot's of religious rituals are actually adopted from older religions so that people could continue with their old traditions. For instance Christmas are actually the old roman Saturnalia festival, dedicated to, you guessed it, the roman god Saturn. And by the way, the romans basically copy pasted the greek gods and renamned them. Cultural history are interesting sometimes.

Not the Catholics I know. But of course, Protestants are constantly attempting to hijack the word so it may eventually develop a new meaning- apparently those Protestants and the Catholics you speak to do not even know the current meaning of the word "Christian".
