  • Damn straight the bonus issue is a "smokescreen"!

Thank you for pointing out the obvious elephant in the room: GOLDMAN SACHS

  • I would rather see Timmy, "the twerp", fired in disgrace. Everyone said he was so smart and he, in actuality, has no common sense. He should consider himself a failure in the eyes of the country.

  • by the way, did u know that the national debt nearly TRIPLED during Ronald Reagan and DOUBLED during George Bush Jr ? its a fact, look it up

  • lets also try the big...Dick Cheney, for war crimes and his scandalous behavior during the Bush debacle

  • Yes and no. The problem is with our system of the Federal Reserve, Wall Street being in bed with Washington, and the internationalist that have taken over our country. Ron Paul and Senator Bunning are good men, rest of the GOP, not so much. They're corrupt as a MF (same with the establishment Dems by the way). Ron Paul and Senator Bunning would be our best ticket!

  • this was outright fraud and treason agains the american people.

    Geitner, Paulson, Bernanke, should all

    be in jail

  • The 'burden' was created by the GOP.

  • Right on, Senator Jim Bunning, and thank you!!!

  • What does the debt buy us? Is it worth it? Can we repay it? Those are the questions you need to ask, when buying a home, a business, or a government.

The US ran up its greatest debt relative to GDP for WW II. It bought us defeat of Germany and Japan and a 40 year economic boom. Worth it? Yes.

What did Bush II's doubling of US debt buy us? Wealth transfer and almost another depression. Worth it? No.

What will Obama's debt buy us? Economic recovery and growth? Health care? We'll see?

  • so basically you are saying it is "ok with you" that your grand children are born with your debt on their shoulders???? Interesting perspective.

  • Isn't this news anchor the guy from the Peter Schiff was Right video?
