@80sLizzie
you're right - in a world full of lies and deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

@BritainiaNumberOne Protect from what? Its an illegal war. If anything it is endangering Britain from the inevitable hatred for the west that is breeding in the hearts and minds of the Afghan and Iraqi people. WAKE UP

@osomy You really don't know any military wives personally do you? I myself am one in Australia. I am far from passive, docile, unread or an idiot. I can also tell you that not many of us are actually pro war. I do not support war, I support my husband. How we feel about their treatment, their choice of career, the choices made by our governments and many others things do not cloud the love we have for the men themselves, unconditional love.

such a tribute to the emotion the wives and girlfriends feel in this or any war put into just one song! Brings it home

@osomy he·ro [heer-oh] Show IPA
noun, plural -roes; for 5 also -ros.
1.
a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
Obviously, these guys are couragous, and they are admired by family, friend etc, for these brave deeds and noble qualities.
At the end of the day, the guys who these ladies sing about, don't go out and start wars, politicians and extremists do a good job of that already.

@osomy we should do what our relatives the Bonobo chimpanzees do and use sex as a means of problem solving. That way, everyone wins and nobody's life needs to be taken in the process.
