This is the same day as London had the same amount of snow, but they stopped their transport cos they did'nt know how to drive in the stuff.
Shame on them!
And this is the Capital City in 2nd Feb 2009? The Southern Softies, that they are!
They should remember when we had the stuff in Feet not inches. Or how other countries can cope with it for Longer, eg Canada, Sweden, Denmark etc...
get out there & dig the stuff away from the roads!!

we didnt get much snow here and it was pretty much gone by the next day. Hope all is well with you x

Yes, I know! Everywhere else just works around it. Too lazy for work, so any excuse not too! I made it into the castle ok, that morning, from Glasgow. 100 miles each way, on a bicycle. In all weathers, carrying the food on the handle bars. Brandy bottles, clinking away! Aye, we are Tougher in the North! lol =) xoxo

over here we get the grand kids to shovel it away from the paths, roads, and any where else we want them to be....Outside, so that we have peace & quiet in the warmth!!!! lol =)

OMG...we have about two feet of snow and just keep right on going...they never close the schools here where I live in Canada.
