Streaming a Windows desktop down to an Apple II over a 115kbps serial connection. Second Life, the online virtual world, is shown as an example. This was done as an "art project" (i.e. it has no practical value). See comp.sys.apple2.programmer for technical discussion. Thanks to retrofloppy.com for the USB/Serial cable. Apple II Forever!

  • But will it blend?

  • This is the hacker spirit embodied, which Apple, for all their success, lost sight of due to DRM & closed systems. The Apple ][ was murdered by the mac, but Apple has cultivated raw talent more than any other company. RIP Steve Jobs. Apple ][ Forever
