The murderer will not go to hell if he truly trusts in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Jesus Christ paid for the sins of the whole world, including original sin, past sins, present sins, and future sins. People who believe turning a new leaf does not pay for sin, sin remains until we are translated with Christ's righteousness at the Rapture where sins are paid through faith in Him. The murderer who believes that Jesus is the Christ shall be saved. That is the gift of God's promise.

If a murderer trusts in Christ as his personal savior and keeps on murdering well then surely he will go to hell, right? But at the same time you say that the only thing needed is to trust in Jesus Christ as your personal savior to go to heaven.
