@vidlvr99 The original is a simple song by Badfinger. Much as I like Nilsson, I feel he overdid this. Mariah more or less took his version, but with greater vocal reach, the result to me, was even worse. This was supposed to be a simple song, feeling OK. lyrics important. Badfinger would not agree with me. You don't have to, either. A song from the heart should be straightforward, I think.

@jacobbruinsma I thought this was the original. who sings the original?btw Mariah's version is near identical to this so if she's way over the top(which she's not) then so is this one. The only "significant" difference is that she sang the last chorus a little longer.
