The Urban Launch is one of three Pathways programs offered by Saint Rose to incoming freshman. Pathways allows students a chance to come to campus a few days early, get to know other first year students, and become familiar with the place they will call home for the next four years.

Urban Launch focuses on connecting students to the Albany area through community service efforts. Students learn about the service needed in the community, as well as get first-hand experience volunteering with local organizations. These organizations have included in the past: Capital District Habitat for Humanity, The Damien Center, St. Anne Institute for Girls, Capital City Rescue Mission, Albany Public Library, as well as many other organizations.
